Last year I had the opportunity to visit an Amazon Fulfillment Center in California. It was really amazing to meet so many Amazon employees, tour the center, and see how efficient all of their processes are to get all of our orders out. I can only imagine how busy the fulfillment centers have been during the past few months and was really curious about what was going on behind the scenes and what has changed over at Amazon since the Pandemic.

The other week when I was on vacation I dropped my foundation on the ground shattering it to pieces!! I asked my amazing Instagram community what their favorite foundations are and it seemed that many people love and swear by the same ones!

I couldn’t have been more excited to touch down in LA last week with my sister Erica. As I get closer to my due date (January 8th) I just want to explore and travel as much as possible! My sister and I joked that this was our little “babymoon” together as sisters. For such an exciting trip I wanted test out a car that was equally as adventurous and exciting.

Make picking a venue that works for you a top priority! The venue is the core of the wedding! We loved our venue because there was plenty of space, an outdoor and indoor option (and we didn’t have to choose until 3 hours before the ceremony), delicious food & great staff!

How is summer almost over?? 2018 is seriously going by faster than ever!! SO many big changes are happening in my life right now & it makes me so happy to be able to share them with the #melisfam! Here's a quick recap of everything that went down this month (hint: it's mostly wedding-related!!):

1. Life goes by really fast! Enjoy every moment and don’t spend too much time sweating the small things. 
2. Time heals all and what seems like a big deal today - you may not even remember a few days or years from now. Try not to overthink or worry so much. 

3. You don’t have to live a life that makes you unhappy. If something is bothering you: fight to change it. You are allowed to change, grow and evolve. 

4. Take pictures and cherish them. They are SO fun to look back on and will put a smile on your face. 

Happy Summer! I absolutely love this time of year because it always seems like fun is just right around the corner! Between the beautiful weather, refreshing treats & the longer days, summer is definitely my favorite season - what's yours?
