What's Changed At Amazon During the Pandemic? Interview with Maria Lopez from Amazon!

Last year I had the opportunity to visit an Amazon Fulfillment Center in California. It was really amazing to meet so many Amazon employees, tour the center, and see how efficient all of their processes are to get all of our orders out. I can only imagine how busy the fulfillment centers have been during the past few months and was really curious about what was going on behind the scenes and what has changed over at Amazon since the Pandemic.

I was lucky enough to be connected to Maria Lopez who is a Process Assistant at one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers in Houston where she supports inventory control and quality assurance operations in the facility. Maria is also a single-mother of 5 and has an incredible work-life balance. We sat down yesterday to talk about what’s been going on at the Amazon Fulfillment center during this time and how she balances her time between work & home. I am so thankful for people like Maria who have been on the front-line this whole time and have been working so hard everyday for their communities.
