The July Roundup
Happy August!
2018 is just flying by & I'm so grateful to have spent so much of this year making amazing memories with my family & friends. July was a whirlwind with a trip home to Florida, a trip to Ojai for my Bachelorette party, even more wedding planning & of course as much yoga as my crazy schedule allowed! These were some of my favorite moments from this month:
Wedding Countdown
We are officially within three months of Harry & I's wedding! We've spent so long planning it that I can't believe it's so soon now! I've had so much fun trying on dresses & can't wait to show you what style of dress I'll be wearing on the big day! What's your favorite style of wedding dress? I've always been drawn to mermaid styles like this one, but there have been so many gorgeous options to choose from!
Yoga Tip Tuesdays
I'll never get tired of Yoga Tip Tuesdays! When I first started my Instagram account, I would go to the beach every morning & film myself doing my favorite poses & flows. It was honestly what made me want to get out of bed every morning! As my account evolves it's made me so happy to be able to share more of my life with my #melisfam, but I'll always continue to enjoy sharing my love of yoga too! You can find all of my past yoga tips here!
My Bachelorette Party
My Bachelorette weekend started off in Los Angeles eating yummy mexican food, drinking champagne & dancing the night away! Then my sisters & my closest friends & I spent the weekend in Ojai wine tasting, enjoying the sunshine, doing yoga & lounging by the pool. It was honestly one of the best weekends of my life & I've never felt more thankful & happy! There's nothing better than having friends & family who will go above & beyond for you 1,000%!
My 30th Birthday
I can't believe that I had my 30th Birthday last month too! "30" sounds so ADULT in my brain, but I've learned that no matter how old you are, you never truly have it all figured out and that’s what keeps us inspired, motivated, and a kid at heart. I may not be exactly where I expected I would be at 30 but I’m where I need to be and it’s even better than I could have ever imagined! My only goal for my 30s is to always work on being the best version of myself. I want to be kind, patient, loving and hard-working!
All Rainbow Everything
This month I got to celebrate my niece’s 2nd birthday in Chicago at her Rainbow themed birthday party! My sister & brother-in-law did such an amazing job!! I was blown away by the party and I never miss a chance to spend time with my beautiful niece and family. It was a day full of love and happiness!!
Fun fact is that July 23rd is my niece Elia’s birthday AND my dog Brady’s birthday (he is now 7 years old!!!)
